WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE STORE?

When you make a purchase, we collect your first and last name, address, email address, IP address, phone number and order history. When paying by invoice via Klarna, you need to provide your personal identification number. However, we only store your birth number, not the last four digits of your personal identity number. You can choose not to provide your personal identification number if you choose a payment method other than invoice.

KLARNA DATA PROTECTION

In order for us to process your personal data, a guardian’s consent is required. By registering and/or ordering, you guarantee that you have custodial consent for us to process your personal data. Within the EU, minimum age requirements for processing personal data are regulated by each Member State. By clicking on “Complete purchase” you agree to the terms and conditions of Designbrickan. You also guarantee that you have the consent of the guardian for the processing of personal data based on the applicable legislation.

FOR WHAT PURPOSE IS YOUR PERSONAL DATA USED?

The personal data Designbrickan collects, stores and processes is only the data necessary for us to handle your purchase, i.e. for the purpose of delivering your products and receiving your payment. The purpose is also to be able to handle returns and complaints if necessary. The legal basis for our processing of personal data is thus that we need the data to be able to fulfill a purchase agreement between Designbrickan and you as a customer.

By storing your personal data with us, your order can be handled more smoothly and we can improve your shopping experience. Your IP address is stored for fraud prevention purposes. We may also inform you of news and promotions that we think may be of interest to you. This is described in more detail in our terms and conditions of purchase in the ‘Newsletter’ section. The processing of your personal data for this purpose is based on your consent when you agree to direct marketing when making a purchase. You have the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data and to refuse direct marketing at any time. You can read more about how to withdraw your consent in our terms and conditions in the ‘Newsletter’ section.

Your email address may be used for targeted marketing on other websites in order to display relevant advertisements. You can request to have your email address and participation removed from these target groups by contacting us. We may also use your personal data to conduct customer surveys with the aim of improving the website and thus your shopping experience.

Your order number and order value may be shared with third parties to measure marketing efforts, but no more data than order number and order value is shared in this case. We are committed to protecting your privacy and will not use your personal data for anything other than the original purpose, as described in this policy.

HOW IS YOUR PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED?

Designbrick uses encrypted communication via Secure Socket Layer (SSL), to ensure that your personal data is protected during purchase. Credit card information is only handled by the financial institution in a secure and encrypted connection. When handling your personal data, we also follow an internal security policy designed to ensure that we comply with applicable legal requirements.

Your personal data is only processed by Designbrickan and the parties involved in the processing of your purchase. Your personal data will not be shared with unauthorized persons. We never sell or exchange your personal data for marketing purposes to third parties outside Designbrickan.

Your personal data is only kept for as long as there is a need to keep it to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected. Designbrickan may retain the data longer if necessary to comply with legislation or, where applicable, to protect legal interests.

WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS?

As a customer, you have the right to contact us to obtain information about the personal data we have stored about you, the possibility of updating it or having it deleted. As a customer, you also have the right to data portability and restriction of processing of personal data if you consider the data to be inaccurate or have requested rectification. Furthermore, you have the right to object to the processing of personal data based on our legitimate interest. We then stop processing the personal data, unless we can demonstrate a legitimate reason that overrides your interests and rights.
